El Dolor.
The Pain.
El Dolor was formed along the banks of the Western Mutual Ditch, on a quiet plot of land nestled among alfalfa crop circles and the nodding donkeys of the Weld County oil industry. Their style reflects a mix of grunge and country, with songs that express the hardships of life, love lost, and perhaps a bit too much whiskey. The din of distorted guitar, gritty vocals, and impassioned violin are rooted in melodic bass lines and complex rhythms.
