El Dolor.
The Pain.
El Dolor was born on the banks of the Western Mutual Ditch on a quiet plot of land nestled among alfalfa crop circles and the bobbing oil rigs of Weld Counuty, CO. Their style reflects a mix of grunge and country, with songs that express the hardships of life, love lost, and perhaps a bit too much whiskey. The din of distorted guitar, gritty vocals, and impassioned violin are rooted in melodic bass lines and complex rhythms. El Dolor has shared the stage with many national acts, including Clem Snide, The Vandoliers, Chris Knight, and Jason Boland and the Stragglers.
